Last week, we completed another garage for one of our clients, but there is a shocking story behind this one…
Location: Tring, Hertfordshire
Scope of work included:
Removal and disposal of AIB ceiling to the garage, external soffit, and high-level porch area under fully controlled conditions
Our client had originally awarded another contractor to undertake the work, but upon their arrival at the site, our client wasn’t filled with confidence based on the first impression and the proposed method of removing the asbestos-containing items.
To cut a long story short, they were politely asked to leave the premises
Lo and behold, they were going to proceed with the work without implementing the correct regulatory measures
