A Special Project at Leicester Museum
A couple of weeks ago one of our teams, led by Dale Ferris, had the unique opportunity to work at the Leicester Museum & Art Gallery. Many of our local lads reminisced about school trips from their youth as they navigated their way through the site.
Challenging Environment: The project involved working around high-risk objects and artifacts that couldn’t be moved (of course). Our team demonstrated exceptional care & risk management to ensure the safety and preservation of these invaluable items.
Security Measures: Given the sensitive nature of the museum’s contents, security was heightened, with personnel managing all entry and exit points during the project.
Project Details: Our task focused on addressing asbestos debris discovered in a plant room, likely stemming from previous construction & maintenance work. The team successfully removed and repaired pipework and encapsulated the ceiling, all while ensuring the utmost care around the museum’s artifacts.
A big appreciation to Dale and his team for great work on this project. We know you enjoyed yourselves, the photos show it.
Well Done Team!
