A vital part of setting up any job

A vital part of setting up any job

Today we want to talk about a vital part of any project we undertake where our team set up an enclosure

Why it’s important…

Enclosures are set up in specific ways to ensure our work is enclosed under a negative pressure atmosphere to control asbestos fibre release.

This is in addition to other control measures such as dust suppression techniques.

This falls in line with HSE guidance and regulations. At WestCross we strive to ensure set up of enclosures look professional.

What our lads have done here…

The lads have taken time to ensure all surfaces are sealed with 1000 gauge polythene to form the enclosure, ready for AIB ceiling to be removed.

The polythene is also used to seal any porous surfaces, so fine cleaning can easily be achieved.

Let’s quickly tell you about this project…

Work at a former social club in Whirlpool

Safe removal and disposal of asbestos insulating board ceiling panels to seating area, fire exit and bar area, all completed in fully controlled conditions.

A big shout out to Dale and his team for a fantastic set up and job well done
