Project Completion at Forest House Education Centre
Radlett, Hertfordshire
We’re proud to highlight our recent 14-day project on behalf of the NHS at Forest House Education Centre.
Our task was multifaceted and demanding, including:
Executing enabling works over a weekend to minimise disruption to the occupants.
This involved the delicate dismantling of two first-floor ceilings to facilitate safe access to the loft space, all performed under fully controlled conditions.
We then set up our access points within these rooms, and the below scope of works then switched to night, out of hours working.
The meticulous removal and disposal of all timber walkways throughout the loft space, Man-Made Mineral Fibre Insulation (MMMF), and then asbestos insulation from all redundant heating pipework.
Conducting a thorough decontamination of the entire loft space, made more difficult with the lathe and plaster ceilings as you can see from the photos, under fully controlled conditions.
Great work from the lads on site once again!
We’ve now handed over the site to be followed on by trades for ceilings to be reinstated, and then ready for roofers to safely access the loft space to inspect the leaking roof.
Thanks to Bucks Site Services Ltd for the 6 Generators.
