Night Shift in the Midlands- Supporting the needs of our client to remove asbestos

Night Shift Supporting the needs of our client

Steve Thacker our Contract Manager, our site supervisor Nathan, and the team members Marcin, Piotr, and Lucaz from our Midlands office, have been diligently working on a project for a local authority.

The Task:
We were entrusted to remove paint from a basement wall and getting back to bare brick. The goal? To eliminate all traces of asbestos insulation residue beneath the paint and clear a ‘red’ item from the asbestos management plan.

Tools & Technique:
To tackle this task, we’re utilising needle guns powered by a compressor. This method ensures efficient and thorough removal of all paint and asbestos residues.

Why This Project Required Night Shifts?

The job was carried out over seven nights due to the building being occupied during the day. Night shifts allow us to work effectively without disrupting the regular activities of the building’s users.

This project is an excellent example of how our team adapts to meet client needs, ensuring safety and efficiency, even outside standard working hours…and not only this completing a day earlier at the request of our client.

Outstanding effort from everyone working on this project- with big claims being made that this team are our best needle gunners in the country (we love seeing such pride in the lads work).
